Antipasti Anyone?

We are very excited to announce our brand new antipasti bars going in at all Whatcom county stores this week. Our new Mediterranean lineup includes 15 olive, pepper and antipasto varieties cured in barrels of brine for 3-12 months.

Our Sevillano green olive is grown by our antipasti partner on their own California orchards, then cured, packed and shipped to your local antipasti bar, providing a unique farm to table experience. Since these are fresh, never pasteurized olives and antipasti, remember to always keep refrigerated and enjoy within 7 days.

Whether you’re a long-time tapas lover or just breaking into the olive world, here’s a few varieties we’d recommend trying out:

While green olives can be intimidating to some, this green and black Bella mix is child-approved and a nice step up from your ordinary finger olive.

These little Pepperazzi from Peru come in a trifecta of greens, reds and oranges. With a hot and tangy flavor complemented by a sweet vinegar marinade, these Pepperazzi are perfect for stuffing with creamy cheeses or meats.

Perfectly greened in California orchards, Sevillano olives are cured, pitted, and then stuffed with smooth blue cheese. Serve as an elegant starter or take it up a notch and throw them into a Dirty Blues Martini.
