Our new Haggen Ultimate Holiday Roast, made from USDA Prime Double R Ranch Northwest beef, is tender and full of rich flavor. It’s hand tied in-store with our Legendary Rub and fresh herbs. This recipe is one of our favorite ways to prepare this locally and sustainably produced roast that you can feel good about serving to your guests.
1 Haggen Ultimate Holiday Roast
1 cluster of celery
1 large onion
1/2 cup water or wine
Rough cut carrots, celery and onion and place in the bottom of a 9″x13″ roasting pan. Add water or wine to the veggie mixture. Set roast on top of the veggies in the roasting pan.
Roast uncovered at 350° for 25 minutes per pound. For a medium done roast pull out of the oven when the center of the roast reaches 135°. Let roast rest for 10 minutes, covered on the counter. Slice and enjoy!
