The Great Haggen Pumpkin Patch

Local Producers

A sure sign that fall is here is the display of gorgeous orange pumpkins welcoming you to our store. Whether displayed on a doorstep, carved as a Jack O’ Lantern, steamed, roasted or pureed, pumpkins have something for everyone to enjoy. And nutritionally they have lots to offer. Pumpkins are a great source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, fiber, beta carotene, carotenoids, and potassium. Just one more healthy super food!

Happily, pumpkin is a versatile ingredient with a wonderful taste that we tend to associate with the cooler fall months and traditional celebrations. This fall there are plenty of pumpkin flavored options to be found at your local Haggen.

In the Bakery

Apart from our delectable pumpkin pies—the perfect centerpiece for any fall dessert table—you’ll find our amazing pumpkin bread, pumpkin scones and pumpkin donuts, perfect breakfast treats or mid-afternoon snacks that are moist, delicious and perfectly spiced.

In the Produce Section

We have freshly harvested pumpkins from Honey Farms in Whatcom County and Sterino Farms in Puyallup, both multi-generational family farm operations that are committed to using sustainable agricultural practices-and growing the finest pumpkins to be found in the Northwest. We also feature organic sugar pie pumpkins from Tilth producer Pete Dykstra at Hopewell Farm in Everson.

Throughout the Store

Don’t miss out on a wide variety of pumpkin and seasonal beers and ciders including Seattle Cider Co.’s Pumpkin Spice Hard Cider and Rogue Farms Pumpkin Patch Ale from Oregon in our beer section. Rising Sun Farms Pumpkin Spice Cheese Torta is a delectable cheese perfect for smearing on a bagel or served with crackers. Look for it in our specialty cheese case.
