Hot Buttered Rum has been the unofficial cold weather drink of choice for generations. Best served on a blustery fall day or during a chilly winter night, this recipe features our very own Haggen’s Best of the Best hot buttered rum mix which is available in our frozen aisle this season.
Haggen’s Hot Buttered Rum mix is a heart warming blend of sweet and spice. Hand-crafted using our premier vanilla ice cream, butter, brown sugar, and a blend of special spices, serve our Hot Buttered Rum Mix with rum, apple juice or cider or both for a comforting way to warm up and relax!
- Haggen’s Best of the Best hot buttered rum mix
- 1.5 oz rum
- Hot water, apple cider (BelleWood Acres HoneyCrisp Cider or Lattin’s Apple Cider) or apple juice (Haggen Honeycrisp Apple Juice)
- Whipped cream (optional)
Pour 1 1/2 ounces of rum into an Irish coffee glass or mug.
Add 1-2 heaping spoonfuls of Haggen’s Best of the Best hot buttered rum mix.
Fill glass with hot water (not boiling) or warm apple cider.
Stir well. Add whipped cream if desired.
